When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

The title really would make more sense if I'd only left in three, but the idea came to me earlier when I was playing the new Silent Hill... I started missing the old SH games, and remembering what made me love them.
I'm a little torn over "Homecoming" so far, but only because of the camera/combat. It sure is preeeetty, though. :3 I shall spoil nothing! ^_^ Haven't beaten it yet, anyway. >_> Spoiler-bits, kinda. (For SH 1-3) So... Heather, Alessa, Cheryl and a girl that popped out of my head, inspired by the "Origins" version of Alessa... She's sort of an amalgamation of all of them, and a deceptively innocent version of the interpreted "God" in SH3. She's supposed to resemble the soul which connects all of their lives together, yet is tainted and tormented by the acts of the Order... And so on. The storyline for the SH series gives me a wee headache sometimes, so forgive me if something's missing. ^_^;; It still feels a bit unfinished, so I may add more later. Yay for random brain-things! Silent Hill is (c) Konami and such!  |
