Young Wiggins Concept Scraps

I've been making birthday drawings, because there are a fair few this month. However, in between, I've been trying to figure out what a young Wiggins might look like.
...Also, his mother. :3
I've come up with quite a lot about his imagined childhood-to-adulthood years.

I've been writing bits here and there about his past, which might be either a short prequel of some kind, or integrated into the main story. Blahblahblah, no one probably cares anyway! XD

I think he needs to have a ponytail even when he's wee, though. And his mom turned out looking too much like Jim's mom in Treasure Planet.... Ffffffffff. B(
The lady at the very bottom is another character who is also in the main story.

Anyway, I don't know why I feel like sharing this stuff, but for some reason, I do!

I don't want to spoil everything, because it's been so much fun coming up with what I hope is a plausible background for both Ratcliffe and Wiggins, leading up to when we see them in the movie. The rest of my story, as it turns out, doesn't follow the official canon, as I learned from seeing some bits of this book: ( much in thanks to the AWESOME Wiggins community ) [link]

Bbbbbuuuut, since I like screwing stuff up anyway, I just decided to make a likely ending ( well, sort of ) for those two based on the movie(s), in the event that Wiggins would have returned to London with Ratcliffe.
SO MUCH STUDYING.
I never realised how much I don't know about the 15-1600s until I started trying to write about daily life, politics and everything in between. There's still so much that I don't know! It's actually not as simple as I thought, trying to find accurate and well-described info on life back then. Most of it is just dates, numbers and small descriptions. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong. XD

Still, I hope that, for the Disney universe, a little imagination and artistic license can be allowed in favor of a good read. :3

Soooo, anyway, I've been developing a handful of characters, trying my best not to redo any others in other fanfictions ( and hopefully succeeding ), while also trying to make them seem as though they could live in the Disney universe and making it easy to picture all of the characters in animated scenarios.

Overthiiiinking! I can't help it. It's a nice break in between writing Widget stuff, and a kids' book project I've been doing. When either aren't going anywhere, I take a bit to go write about Wiggins and Ratcliffe! It's surprisingly helpful.

There are so many great fanfics for the pairing already out there, I'm afraid to do a whole lot in case I later find it's already been done... Ah, well. That's the chance we take! ^_^
