First off, I'd like to apologize for the insanely long pause between replying and commenting on here. Since about early October, possibly late September, I honestly can't remember much at the moment, everyone here has been getting sick. First I got it, then my partner, then our daughter, and the cycle repeated itself.
We more recently experienced the loss of two pets in the span of a week- our fish, Gil; and then our cat, Lulu, lost her long battle with cancer. I rather fell out of touch with my usual sites, and have been working on getting back out into things, and being cheerful and sociable.
Writing, art, thinking of the future, and most of all, most importantly, thinking about all of you, have kept me powering through! ...Well, and coffee, but that's another matter entirely.
You are all the very best friends I could ever have wished for. If not for friends, life, I think, would be dreadfully bleak.
While I've been planning to post all of these updates, new chapters of "Highly Unexpected" and a standard poop-ton of art, tending to sick people constantly and trying to keep teaching my daughter at home have just swamped out all else.
I will be posting new chapters, and art, but because of the back log, there is likely to be a lot all at once. I also will be slow on comments, favourites, replies- just letting you all know right off the bat.
Future chapters of H.U. are in the wings, being edited when ever time can be found- and that, right now, is not often. To those who read it, you are appreciated so, so much!
Since I am unlikely to be caught up enough to post a holiday journal in time this year, I wish you all a very wonderful winter!

An Unexpected Update!
Hello, old friends!!! What happened to DevArt and Highly Unexpected? The good news is, I'm still making stuff! Pretty much every day! A Highly Unexpected Update ( Or Two )!
Sooooo, you know how I had previously said that I would try for NOT having another months-long break between updates? WELLLlllllp. Life happened, and I'm so sorry I haven't been posting! I've been commenting and replying when I get chances, but no posting. I've built up almost a year's worth of stuff, so I'm sorry in advance for the oncoming spam! I want to start off by saying how incredibly sorry I am for the long pause, as far as journals and actual posting go. A couple of people have actually asked about "Highly Unexpected", and as I have told them, it's still being written! I've just been slowed down a lot this year.
